A fiduciary job that fits you Do you want real freedom in your work, without the constraints of a traditional fiduciary firm? Are you looking for a role where you can structure your day in a way that makes sense for you, instead of following fixed office hours? Nexova is the first fully remote fiduciary firm in Switzerland and offers startups and SMEs digital accounting, payroll accounting, and tax advisory services. We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Advisor in Fiduciary Services who combines deep technical expertise with strong client instincts. You will manage a portfolio of complex mandates independently, act as a trusted long-term partner for your clients, and contribute to how we develop our processes and services. With the right track record, the path to Team Manager is a natural next step.
Being a Senior Client Advisor at Nexova
At Nexova, the Senior Client Advisor is the most experienced voice in the room on a client mandate. Your clients come to you not just for the numbers, but for the perspective and judgment that comes with years of real fiduciary work.
Complex work, handled independently
Your portfolio spans demanding clients — established SMEs, fast-growing startups, and international founders navigating Swiss regulations for the first time. You manage the full scope of their fiduciary needs, from annual statements and tax returns to proactive advisory on business decisions. No one is looking over your shoulder.
Modern tools, less friction
We work in a fully paperless environment with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central at the centre. Automated workflows and clean digital processes mean less time on administration and more time on the advisory work that actually requires your expertise.
Part of a team that shares what it knows
The culture here is open. People ask questions, share knowledge, and support each other across mandates. As a senior team member, you’ll have colleagues to think out loud with, and you’ll play a real role in developing the people around you.
Your mission

- Advise and support clients at senior level: You are the primary contact for a demanding portfolio of startup and SME clients on all fiduciary matters — from accounting and payroll through to complex tax advisory and financial planning, at both national and international level.
- Manage complex mandates independently: You handle the full scope of client work: ongoing bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns (MWST), annual financial statements, and comprehensive tax advisory, all managed with full autonomy.
- Swiss regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards (OR), handle social insurance declarations, and manage all regulatory obligations across your mandate portfolio.
- Think ahead and grow client relationships: You identify risks and opportunities early, bring solutions proactively, and actively build and expand your client portfolio while maintaining consistently high quality.
- Help shape our processes: You challenge existing workflows, contribute your own ideas, and help actively shape the future of digital fiduciary services
- Career development: You have the opportunity to grow into a Team Manager role, taking on responsibility for a team of client advisors and accountants.
Your profile

Professional qualifications:
- Fiduciary Expert diploma (eidg. Diplom Treuhandexperte), Federal Diploma in Fiduciary Services, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 6 to 8 years of professional experience in a fiduciary firm, of which at least 3 to 4 years in an independent or advisory role.
- Digitally savvy and familiar with common fiduciary and accounting software.
- Very good German skills and solid English for communication with our international clients.
Personal strengths:
- You work independently and organise your work without constant supervision.
- You communicate proactively and address problems early rather than letting them sit.
- You are client-focused and can explain complex topics in an understandable way.
- You enjoy working remotely and value flexible working hours.
- Freedom, quality, transparency, and responsibility are values you live by.
When it might not be the right fit:
- If you need a traditional office structure to be productive, you may struggle with us
- If you prefer detailed instructions and rigid processes, you will likely find it challenging here
- If you are looking for a stable, unchanging role, this is probably not the right place—we are still in a building phase.
What Nexova offers you

Working at Nexova
What you can expect

Working hours
We work a 42.5-hour week, but there is no fixed schedule. You decide when those hours happen. Being generally available between 10:00 and 16:00 helps with collaboration, but it is a guideline rather than a rule. You also get 5 weeks vacation plus Swiss public holidays.

Remote work
Work from wherever suits you: home, a cafe, or our Basel office if you want a space to collaborate. After your first six months, working from other countries is possible with your manager's agreement.

Learning and development
We support professional development and can cover costs for courses, certifications, and conferences. What we fund depends on relevance to your role and is subject to agreement with your supervisor.

Equipment and IT
We cover the initial cost of your home setup: laptop, monitors, headset - whatever you need. After that, you get CHF 200 per year for ongoing tech needs, plus unlimited calls and data through our Galaxus Mobile partnership.

You are protected
We offer an above-average pension with one of Switzerland's most reputable funds, comprehensive accident coverage including private hospital ward access, and strong salary continuation during illness.

Team and culture
There is no one constantly looking over your shoulder. You are trusted to manage your own work, with direct and open communication. We support team get-togethers with up to CHF 35 per person for events with four or more colleagues.
Our Basel office
A place to connect
Working remotely does not mean working alone. In Basel, we have created a workspace you can use whenever you want a day of focused work or time with colleagues.
The office sits directly opposite Basel SBB, with natural light, adjustable desks, monitors, a kitchen, and space to collaborate comfortably.
People come because the space helps them work well, not because they have to. That is the atmosphere we want the page to communicate too.

No. Depending on the role, part of the onboarding may take place in our office in Basel to help you get started. After that, you can work from wherever you like. You might enjoy the office enough to come in regularly and collaborate with colleagues, but you can just as easily work from home or another location.
We mainly work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for accounting, as well as Notion for team collaboration and documentation. We're happy to discuss additional tools during the interview. Everything is fully digital and cloud-based.
You'll be closely supported during your first weeks. You'll have access to structured onboarding materials with video guides covering our processes and tools. In addition, you'll have regular check-ins with your manager and stay in close contact with your colleagues as you get up to speed.
In principle, you need to be based in Switzerland, especially during the first six months. After that, shorter stays abroad may be possible depending on the situation and by agreement. We must comply with Swiss labour and tax regulations.
Mistakes happen—that's human. What matters is how we handle them. If something doesn't go as planned, address it early and we'll find a solution together.
Mainly startups and SMEs: technology companies, consulting firms, financial service providers, and many more. They are building something and need reliable, modern fiduciary services that can keep up with their growth. Many are led by international founders who are navigating the Swiss business environment for the first time.
You work independently, but you're not on your own. You'll have regular exchange with your manager, can reach out to colleagues when needed, and we have weekly team check-ins. You have the space to work your own way, with support around you when you need it.
We offer competitive salaries in line with your qualifications and experience. Exact figures depend on your background and are discussed openly during the interview process.
The natural next step is Team Manager, where you lead a team of client advisors and accountants, oversee mandate quality, and support the development of your colleagues. Beyond that, Senior Manager and Partner roles exist for those who want to shape the direction of the business.
We're hiring across different roles and experience levels. See all our open positions at nexova.ch/en/jobs or send your CV to jobs@nexova.ch to discuss other opportunities.
